Marketing and Business Development Coordinator - Dublin

Job Introduction

Based in the DAC Beachcroft Dublin office, forming part of the UK based central Clients and Markets team, this role will support our local marketing and business development initiatives.

Role Responsibility

The key responsibilities include:

 

  • Providing vital support to the Dublin office on a broad range of marketing and business development needs with a particular focus on coordination of events and administration;
  • Supporting the Dublin office with key marketing and business development tasks such as the production and updating of marketing materials, PowerPoint presentations, e-alerts and event invitations; (using firmwide templates)
  • Assisting in the maintenance of the contacts in OnePlace (CRM system) and the use of OnePlace for the purpose of BD and marketing activity.
  • Supporting the Dublin office and central Bids team with pitches, bids and tenders;
  • Providing onsite support and coordination during key local events;
  • Providing support to the Dublin office by ensuring consistency of message, output and approach in written materials;
  • Supporting the creation of content for the firm’s website, then preparing and uploading it for the Digital team to publish.
  • Acting as a key liaison for the relationship between the Dublin office and the Firm’s central Clients and Markets function;
  • Liaising with third parties and suppliers including event organisers and design/content agencies;
  • Assisting with general administration as necessary.

This role will also contain a knowledge management element comprising the following:

  • Booking of external events and courses;
  • Coordinating knowledge sharing sessions;
  • Ad hoc tasks relating to the administration and coordination aspects of knowledge management activity.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Have strong administration and organisational skills
  • Have experience of working with Client Management Systems and email sharing platforms;
  • Have strong IT skills and the ability to learn (or experience of) tools such as InDesign (using firmwide templates)
  • Have strong writing skills, with the ability to adapt style to different audiences and channels;
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with people across all area of the business by phone, in written communication and in person;
  • Plan their time effectively, prioritising workload to meet agreed deadlines;
  • Be proactive and take the initiative where appropriate;
  • Have excellent computer literacy, including Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

This role would ideally suit a marketing assistant looking to progress their career through increased responsibility, or a strong administrator/coordinator with an interest in marketing.
