Events Executive - Bristol

Job Introduction

DACBeachcroft has an exciting opportunity for a someone to join our Clients and Markets team as an Events Executive on a full-time, permanent, hybrid basis in our Bristol office. 

The Events Executive plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional event experiences that align with our firm's strategic objectives. As a key support to the Events Manager, this position will contribute to the successful planning, execution, and evaluation of a diverse range of events. We're looking for a proactive, confident individual who can collaborate effectively to ensure each event reflects our brand ethos and creates lasting impressions.

This role will suit someone with experience in delivering face to face events in a similar role, ideally within a law of professional services environment. Knowledge of planning and hosting virtual events will also be highly advantageous.

Role Responsibility

On-site event support:

  • Act as the on-site point of contact for stakeholders and clients during live events, ensuring seamless execution of event logistics, and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with catering and facilities teams, both internally and externally as needed to ensure event requirements are met as planned.
  • Coordinate with internal and external speakers as needed. 

Event planning and production:

  • Work autonomously to plan, and execute events, including conferences, webinars, and corporate hospitality.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, to manage the logistics for venue selection, vendor management, catering arrangements, and AV equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, design and digital teams as needed to prepare and collate event related assets, including presentations and brochures.
  • Clearly outline objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) with stakeholders to define success metrics for each event and ensure alignment with firm goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align event objectives with overall marketing goals, including working towards achieving targeted numbers.
  • Collect and analyse post-event feedback to inform future event planning and improvements.

Communication and collaboration:

  • Prepare and approve event related communications.
  • Produce regular registration reports to be circulated to key stakeholders.
  • Update our corporate website, and internal marketing hub, to notify clients and stakeholders of upcoming events. 
  • Researching market trends and data to improve quality of events, including competitor events, invite designs, online event platforms and hybrid event formats.

The Ideal Candidate

Key Technical Knowledge:

  • Experience of delivering successful face-to-face events is required, and knowledge of hosting virtual events (webinars) is desirable.
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, whilst maintaining attention to detail.
  • Interest in data analytics to inform decision making.
  • Ability to work both autonomously, and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Extra Role Requirements:

  • Travel may be required to support events in-person events. These will typically be in either our London (HQ) office, Bristol, or external venues.
  • You will be required to support on events during 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with after-hours support for events required on occasion.
