Marketing Manager - International

Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

Job Introduction

One of the central themes for the Insurance Sector strategy is to maximise the value of our existing international capabilities to our clients (international and regional) and to continue to invest in building that capability in new jurisdictions where needed by those clients.

Feedback from the market and our own people demonstrates that we need to significantly improve the visibility, profile and breadth/depth of our international proposition. This in turn impacts on the appeal to potential lateral hires and network partners. To compete for, and win work from, our competitors requires a step change in how we build that identity, retain and grow profitable revenues from clients. In addition those clients are demanding the delivery of more consistent, integrated services backed up by robust MI, real added value and quality client management.

With the focus on international growth and the demands that will bring, we are investing in this role to ensure we deliver a really credible international proposition to all our audiences.

To address this we want to recruit a Marketing Manager for our International business (MMI). This does not include Legalign as we are recruiting a Manager to lead that campaign but there will be close collaboration needed. The MMI will be based in our Walbrook office working alongside our international partners, the Insurance BD & Marketing team, the central C&M functions and liaising with Madrid, LatAm and our DACB international offices. • Coordinate the preparation of submissions for Global Directories and international publications
  • Support the organisation of International events, at the different locations where DACB operates, making sure that the content and marketing materials are fit for purpose

  • Work with the central comms team to produce internal communications to ensure UK and Legalign colleagues are aware of the capabilities, personalities and successes in our international offices
  • Create an effective, marketing on-boarding programme for new international offices

The MMI will deliver all of these in appropriate languages using internal colleagues and/or external translation services where needed. It is expected they will be fluent in English and Spanish as a minimum. He/she will produce a monthly report to stakeholders on the activities and results of the international marketing programme and proposals around priorities and investment areas.

Reporting

Day to day reporting will be to the Head of Insurance – BD & Marketing. Strategic line management will be to Gustavo Blanco. Other key stakeholders will be the other sector Marketing Mangers as well as the Heads of Client Engagement, Listening, Communications & Brand Management
