Events Coordinator - London

Job Introduction

DAC Beachcroft has an exciting opportunity for an Events Coordinator to join our Clients & Markets team on a full-time, permanent basis in our London office. This role will be predominantly office based, however there will be opportunities to work from home occasionally, event dependent.

This role would best suit someone early in their events career, who already has some experience in supporting the delivery of face-to-face and virtual events, ideally within a professional services environment.

Role Responsibility

On-side event support:

  • Act as the on-site point of contact during live events, ensuring seamless execution of event logistics, and resolve any arising issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with catering and facilities teams, both internally and externally as needed to ensure event spaces and requirements are met as planned.
  • Coordinate with internal and external speakers as needed.  

Event planning and production:

  • Support the event manager in the planning and coordination of digital webinars, hybrid, and in-person events.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, design and digital teams as needed to collate event related assets.
  • Ensure event-related presentations are brand compliant.
  • Prepare invitations, and other event-related email communications.
  • Produce regular registration reports to be circulated to key stakeholders.
  • Support in the editing and distribution of post-webinar video content.

Communication and collaboration:

  • Update our corporate website, and internal marketing hub, to notify clients and stakeholders of upcoming events. 
  • Respond to requests received to the Events inbox, and action as needed.
  • Coordinate diaries for internal stakeholders, and outline key deadlines.
  • Researching market trends and data to improve quality of events, including competitor events, invite designs, online event platforms and hybrid event formats

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in supporting the delivery of successful face-to-face events is required
  • Experience hosting/supporting on virtual events (webinars) is desirable
  • Strong organisational skills are required
  • Some knowledge of how to work towards a budget is desired
  • Experience working with external suppliers is ideal, but not required
  • Attention to detail is key
  • Basic copywriting skills and ability to adapt style to different audiences and channels is ideal 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM

Essential Role Requirements:

  • This role requires the candidate to be office-based. There will be opportunities to work occasional days from home, event dependent.
  • This role requires the candidate to be available for events 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with after-hours support for events required on occasion.
