Solicitor/ Chartered Legal Executive - Casualty Injury - Bristol/Flexible

Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

Job Introduction

Due to a number of tender wins and an increase in good, quality work, an opportunity has arisen for either a Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive / Experienced Paralegal to join our thriving Bristol or Newport Casualty Injury team.  In light of our ‘location blind’ approach and our flexible working policy, we would welcome applications from candidates across the UK, looking for the next step in their career progression.

The role will involve handling a caseload of multi-track EL, PL or product claims for a number of leading insurer clients.  Lawyers are encouraged to build relationships with those clients and their claims handlers, with a view to assisting personal progression and development.  In addition, the scope of your role means that you are likely to be asked to assist either the Partner and/or Associates and/or senior solicitors within the team on their higher value and more complex matters to further help with your own development and technical expertise.

The team itself has a mix of office based and flexible workers (who choose to work at home).  This means we can tailor the role to your requirements while still providing you with the support required to develop and grow as a Lawyer.  The clients we act for are a mix of leading names in the insurance industry as well as household name corporates.

While experience in Defendant personal injury would be considered a plus, we are looking for the ‘right’ person for this role. As such,  we would also consider applications from Lawyers who may have alternative prior experience such as in Claimant, disease, fraud, health and safety and clinical negligence for example.

What’s in it for you?
As well as offering high levels of flexibility and a great work life balance, we offer a well-rounded remuneration package (which includes private medical insurance, income protection insurance and discounted gym membership, amongst many other benefits) alongside real opportunities for growth and progression. We actively encourage colleagues to make use of our professional funding scheme to complete legal or business qualifications relevant to your role.
