Senior Marketing Manager

Job Introduction

Lead the charge in shaping our firm’s Marketing & Events strategy to elevate our market presence and drive profitable growth. Working closely with the Clients & Markets Senior Management Team, you’ll be at the forefront of strategic initiatives, evolving best practices, and using key metrics to track ROI. As a leader of a high-performing team of professionals, you’ll inspire innovation, foster creativity, and set the standard for excellence across all marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:
  
  • Serve as a key member of the Clients & Markets Senior Management Team.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing, collaborative team, fostering best practices, innovation, and strategic growth through strong mentorship, workload management and proactive support.
  • Drive multi-channel marketing strategy across content, commercial campaigns, events, social media, and partnerships.
  • Oversee data strategy implementation across clients and sectors, including targeting methodologies, management of mailing list composition, and review of ROI in collaboration with Business Development.
  • Oversee the development of marketing plans with Business Partners and Marketing & Events colleagues to achieve sector and jurisdiction revenue goals.
  • Create and lead firmwide campaigns, collaborating closely with team members to develop a variety of cohesive, brand-aligned content.
  • Manage sector marketing budgets, alongside Business Partners, contributing to the annual budgeting process
  • Optimise digital marketing channels with the Marketing Operations & Digital Engagement team.
  • Drive effective project-management of all marketing and event activities, ensuring timely, on-budget execution.
  • Analyse engagement and outcomes to refine future strategies, supporting external and internal communications.
  • Ensure the relevant product and service web site areas are accurate, working closely with the wider Clients and Markets team, and Knowledge Team.
      
The Ideal Candidate:

  • Significant experience of creating and managing marketing activity.
  • Management and/or coaching experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience of implementing best practice and initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates innovative and creative thinking.
  • Highly credible with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Team oriented and collaborative with a flexible, can-do attitude.
  • Possess experience of multi-channel communication.
  • Have a proven track record of working with external agencies.
  • Strong project management skills, managing multiple activities at any one time.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
