Real Estate Paralegal- Scotland

Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

Job Introduction

DACB is seeking a paralegal to join their Glasgow office to form part of the portfolio management real estate team (a national team of paralegals that support the real estate team across the UK). The role will be geared towards working as part of our Scottish real estate offering, with an opportunity to work with real estate colleagues across the country on nationwide projects.

Our Scottish real estate teams cover every aspect of transactional and contentious commercial real estate work, including in particular telecoms, development, investment, asset management, construction and landlord/tenant work.  Clients include telecoms operators, property management and development companies, house builders, health trusts and government bodies (local and central), owner-occupiers and institutions, both in the UK and overseas.

The work expected of the role may involve, for example, running smaller-scale transactions from start to finish and managing bulk instructions, as well as assisting the team on larger-scale commercial transactions.  On the litigation side, the work will likely involve dealing with landlord/tenant asset management work, drafting pleadings and assisting with Court or Tribunal applications.  A knowledge of Scottish property law and/or experience of working in a real estate environment, particularly any experience in telecoms work, is therefore preferred.
