Marketing & Events Coordinator - Clients & Markets - Bristol

Job Introduction

We’re looking for a passionate, creative Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our Business Development, Bids and Marketing Team.  This role will be a hands-on role in a fast-moving, exciting environment, where creativity, relationships and a drive to improve processes and our business are key.  The role will involve a wide range of marketing and event activities to generate business growth and opportunity.  If you are a recent graduate or you’re looking to begin or develop your career in marketing then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

The ideal candidate will have a creative approach to developing marketing content and be able to work through tasks to meet required timescales.

Role Responsibility

  • Support the delivery of innovative marketing activity, as well as provide creative input on team projects to provide successful solutions for our internal and external clients.
  • Dealing with marketing support requests from a wide-range of internal stakeholders from across the business for the team.
  • Creating exciting content and support the development, design and production of marketing collateral and promotional material across a variety of programmes including Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Cloud software.
  • Producing and sending marketing emails and event invites.
  • Assisting with the organisation, management and hosting of a wide range of events and meetings (may require occasional evening working.)
  • Website content creation.
  • Working with the team to successfully deliver campaign activity, including social media.
  • Maintaining mailing lists used for marketing and events campaigns.
  • Understands DAC Beachcroft is an international firm. Works with awareness of this structure to operate as one team/brand.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Positive attitude, motivation and determination to succeed in a fast-paced marketing role in this industry.
  • Good organisational skills and able to work through tasks to meet required timescales.
  • Creative approach to developing marketing content.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Keen attention to detail and careful proofreading.
  • Confident with good interpersonal skills and able to engage appropriately with stakeholders.
  • Intermediate level in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, plus basic knowledge of Excel.
  • Some knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud products.
  • Good understanding of the principles of marketing and events and eager to develop skills in both areas.
  • Ability to use marketing technology.
  • Team player.
  • Demonstrates alignment with the Firm’s Cultural Principles (Clear, Creative, Determined and Supportive).
