HR and Recruitment Administrator - 6 months FTC - HR - Birmingham/Bristol

Job Introduction

We are looking for a full or part time HR and Recruitment Administrator to join our friendly recruitment team on a 6 months fixed term contract. You will sit within our Claims Solutions Group (CSG) HR / Recruitment team which supports on all recruitment activity across CSG with some adhoc HR administration to offer broader experience. This is a hybrid role and we are looking for applicants in Bristol or Birmingham.

Role Responsibility

  • Undertaking administrative activity in support of core HR recruitment processes which primarily includes posting and managing recruitment adverts, arranging interviews, managing the shared Recruitment Team inbox and providing ad-hoc support on a range of recruitment led initiatives. 
  • Acting as a central point of contact for candidates in relation to queries regarding their job applications, offers and on-boarding.
  • Developing good working relationships with Recruitment Advisors, HR Business Partners, members of the HR Service Desk and key operational clients of the Shared Service Centre.
  • Proactively suggesting changes to procedures, documentation and standard letters where appropriate.
  • Ensuring that HR/recruitment systems are updated accurately and in a timely manner in line with the Firm's data security protocols.

The Ideal Candidate

This could be a great entry role into HR / Recruitment for someone with administration experience or who is passionate about working in this area, ideally you will have.

  • Previous HR/Recruitment administration experience but that not essential, general administration experience would also be advantageous.
  • A client service focused approach with an excellent eye for detail and a care for quality and accuracy.
  • Experience of working in a fast pace and high volume environment.
  • Experience of diary management and applicant tracking systems would also be advantageous.
  • Demonstrates alignment with the Firm’s Cultural Principles (Clear, Creative, Determined and Supportive).
