HR Advisor (12 months FTC) - Bristol

Job Introduction

DAC Beachcroft is looking to appoint an HR Advisor to join our busy HR Team in Bristol on a  fixed term contract for 12 months.  This role will have a particular focus on wellbeing and people.

Working alongside key stakeholders in HR and DACB Leadership team, this role will provide ideas and pragmatic solutions to the business around identified people focused themes to ensure our workplace is where talented people want to work.  When our colleagues join the DACB team we want them to feel they can thrive and feel supported and challenged to be at their very best.

This role will involve undertaking a range of work, from supporting on areas identified by our employees in our engagement surveys, objectives to support the delivery of our People Strategy plus HR Projects that are in line with our Business strategy.

Role Responsibility

Engagement

Working closely with key stakeholders you will design and deliver activities that support the delivery of  the people strategy, and support on day-to-day management of people initiatives, including, but not limited to:

Engagement Survey:

  • Pulling out key themes and analysing survey results to share with the HR Leadership team with a view to include in Exec / Board and key stakeholders communication
  • Refining approaches to maintain momentum and progress supporting with the drafting of comms for colleagues/people managers with support from key stakeholders
  • Managing access control on the engagement platform, adjusting manager access and keeping behind the scenes running
  • Keeping a top line view over any sensitive/alarming comments left by colleagues and notifying relevant HRBP where action is needed
  • Other: Regularly reviewing exit interview survey analysis and providing analysis around key themes to share with the HRBP's

Wellbeing

  • Develop and deliver day-to-day programme of wellbeing activities and ongoing communication and education on wellbeing initiatives in order to raise awareness internally
  • Arranging wellbeing webinars for colleagues, sourcing speakers and alongside the Events Team
  • Posting content to Menopause Champions and MenoPositive Viva Engage, keeping an eye out for news stories / relevant content to share
  • Continued promotion of initiatives such as the EAP through attendance at Working Families Roundtable and, sharing of usage stats with HRBPs and keeping MHFAs and Wellbeing Reps aware of what the EAP can do
  • Attend bi-monthly Mindful Business Charter network meetings and update on initiatives / networking

General

  • Measure, monitor and report (both qualitative and quantitative) of our engagement and wellbeing activity, developing action plans to address identified challenges or trends
  • Support with the development and delivery of an internal comms strategy on engagement and wellbeing, including sharing relevant updates on Viva Engage
  • Share knowledge on engagement and wellbeing to wider HR team
  • Keep abreast of external research and engagement and wellbeing good practice /activity
  • Collaboration with key stakeholders especially in ESG, D&I and the HR team
  • Provide support and guidance to the internal networks within the business
  • Own and develop relationships with external stakeholders and suppliers

  • Operates in a regulated environment, effectively managing risk and compliance issues including data security
  • Works in partnership with others to manage and mitigate commercial risk

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in delivering and/or supporting engagement and wellbeing initiatives in a Firm and therefore have a sound understanding and knowledge of engagement
  • Experience of working in a professional or financial services business environment is desirable
  • A high-level of interest and enthusiasm for engagement topics (diversity and inclusion, employee engagement and wellbeing)
  • Experience in monitoring, analysing and presenting data
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are vital
  • Proven ability to influence others at all levels
  • Proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks and projects
  • Well organised, with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data in order to influence key decisions
  • Team oriented, flexible and enthusiastic with a positive and committed approach
  • Reliable and able to work on own initiative, with good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
