Events Manager - Bristol

DACBeachcroft has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Events Manager to join our Clients & Markets team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role will be based out of our Bristol office and will offer the flexibility of a hybrid working pattern.

Reporting to the Senior Manager (Marketing Team Leader), the Events Manager will plan and deliver events for DACBeachcroft at a regional, national and international level. Working as part of the central marketing team, this role supports all business sectors in a flexible resourcing environment.

Role Responsibility

  • Develop and deliver the full events programme for the firm across in-person, digital and hybrid platforms; working closely with C&M colleagues, internal stakeholders and key suppliers.
  • Drive development of digital events at DACB, using digital analytics and audience engagement statistics to inform progress and suggest approaches for improvements where needed.
  • Manage overview of event data, including e-comms engagement rates, rsvp averages, attendance vs drop-out rates, etc. using this data to inform marketing managers as needed for campaign activities.
  • Maintains CRM contact details resulting from invitation and RSVP process.
  • Deliver the DACB brand promise by offering a consistent level of experience across all events, both internally and externally facing.
  • Ensure the appropriate application of the firm’s visual identity both physically and digitally across all event opportunities.
  • Work closely with the PG&R team to assess and manage the risk processes.
  • Ensure all aspects of event production are efficiently delivered including: room/venue bookings, catering, collateral and presentation production, preparation of delegate packs, mailings, registration etc, with a focus on effective ROI.
  • Work closely with marketing, and BD managers to develop target audience lists, and manage the client invitation process, as well as the post-event attendance review.
  • Manages negotiations and relationships with venues, and external suppliers.
  • Produce detailed event project and logistics plans, ensuring event planning platforms, and relevant stakeholders are kept up to date.
  • Work closely with marketing outline key objectives for each event, advise on best practice to achieve campaign/event objectives.
  • Draft engaging copy for event related communications.
  • Deliver event activities within the budgets set and monitor required client-spend protocol.
  • Completing qualitative and quantitative post-event analysis for complete ROI reporting, engaging with marketing and BD team to provide overview assessment of success criteria.
  • Act as a coach to develop the team of coordinators to the highest standards.
  • Identify appropriate training to support personal development through feedback, performance management, and continued assessment of training needs.
  • Embrace innovation, and influence new ways of working by championing creativity, new technology, channels and engagement tactics.
