Events Executive
Job Introduction
We are looking for an enthusiastic Events Executive to support a range of activities designed to generate business growth within the DAC Beachcroft Claims Solutions Group.
The ideal candidate will be diligent, hard-working, have a creative approach, and be able to work through tasks quickly in a team environment to meet required timescales.

What you will do
Support the delivery of event activities, such as maintaining mailing lists, creating event invitations and assisting the Events Co-ordinator with monitoring the events inbox.
- Deal with a variety event support requests from across the business.
- Attend and assist with the organisation and setting up of a wide range of in person and online events and meetings.
- Maintain and update mailing lists using our CRM database (Customer Relationship Management) tool used for events campaigns.
- Ensure once tasks are completed they are updated on the events project board.
- Support the Events Manager and Events Co-ordinator in the planning and coordination of events.
- Attend regular kick-off calls to obtain the event brief and ensure that the events process is followed and all deadlines are met.
- Work with external associations/agencies to deliver exhibitions and conferences and ensure that their deadlines are met.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business including the Client Account Management Team, Market Leads, Heads of Product, and various Reception and Office Services Teams.
- Assist with the creation of presentations using the firms brand guidelines ensuring that all slides are consistent with events.
Who you are
You will:
- Have some prior experience of delivering successful face-to-face events or virtual events (webinars).
- Have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Be able to work as part of a team or autonomously working through tasks to meet deadlines.
- Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Have keen attention to detail and careful proofreading.
- Be a positive, motivated, creative individual with a determination to succeed in a fast-paced events role in this industry.
- Be confident with good interpersonal skills and the ability to engage appropriately with stakeholders.
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, plus basic knowledge of Excel.
- Be able to demonstrate alignment with the Firm’s Cultural Principles (Clear, Creative, Determined and Supportive).
- Understand that DAC Beachcroft is an international firm and work with awareness of this structure to operate as one team/brand.
- Extra role requirements
- Some travel will be required to support in-person events. These will typically be in our other offices, or external venues.
- You will be required to support on events during 9am-5pm, with after-hours support required on occasion.
