Design Coordinator

Job Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity for a Design Co-ordinator within the Clients and Markets team. The role will involve supporting our Bids Team to win new profitable business for the firm as well as working closely with our Client Engagement and Business Development teams.

Role Responsibility

  • Working with our Bids Managers to help create and produce engaging and visual bid documents and presentations for clients. Experience in using advanced design skills in MS PowerPoint and MS Word is essential. A good knowledge of InDesign would also be advantageous. Presentations will range from slides to videos to hard copy A3 presentation sheets.
  • Creating diagrams, charts, organograms and engaging visual content to support our bids and ensure they stand out from the crowd. The ability to take briefs over the phone and on email and challenge ideas to create great bespoke DACB branded documents will be key.
  • Working with our Head of Bids and Senior Bids Managers to drive new continuous improvement projects forward for the team. This will include, but not be limited to; updating our branded materials for bids, refreshing and reformatting our FAQ document and formatting proposal documents into the DACB bids template. The role will also involve supporting on other new initiatives and projects as the team moves forward
  • As required, support our wider Brand and Content, BD and Client Engagement Teams in their work to generate new income and increase profitable income from existing clients.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a strong track record in designing great eye catching documents
  • Have advanced Word and PowerPoint skills and a strong knowledge of InDesign.
  • Have a working knowledge of print best practice
  • Be highly organised, with the ability to manage a range of different projects at a given time
  • Have good writing skills and able to adapt style to different audiences and channels
  • Demonstrate the ability to both work as a part of a team and also work autonomously
  • Be committed to learning about the Clients & Markets function and applying this knowledge
