Job Introduction
DAC Beachcroft’s Claims Solutions Data Analytics team provides analytics products to both internal and external clients in a wide range of areas, including performance and operational analysis, market trends, predictive modelling and fraud detection.
This is an area of rapid development, with the team leading the way in making the Claims Solutions Group a truly evidence led organisation.
We are now recruiting for an entry level Data Administrator to join our team, where you will be responsible for the preparation of client MI material, data quality improvement and administration of business, client and market data within the Claims Solutions Group.
The role is based in Birmingham or Newport as the majority of the team are based in these locations, with flexible working following training in the role.

What you will do
- Data administration – collecting data, cleansing, validating and entry into database and knowledge management systems
- Processing data through Management Information systems and databases, case administration databases, the fraud database, AI and other tools
- Assisting with the preparation of client MI data reports
- Providing administrative support for data individual and wide ranging analytics projects
- Drafting data guides and other internal documents for our knowledge management toolkit.
- Liaising with data analytics managers and our stakeholders
- Handling confidential information in line with the firm's data security protocols.
Who you are
- Good keyboard skills and IT literate, with at least intermediate Excel skills.
- Highly numerate with a minimum grade 6 (B) in Maths and English at level 2.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Able to make decisions within own areas of responsibility.
- Ability to work on own initiative without close supervision.
- Good organisational and planning skills.
- Enthusiastic and approachable with a committed and flexible attitude to work.
- A confident and professional communicator.
- Demonstrates alignment with the Firm’s Cultural Principles (Clear, Creative, Determined and Supportive).
Desirable Technical Skills/Experience
- Previous experience of using databases would be advantageous.
